This Summer 2012 the church will complete a tri-continental Scottish, American and Australian band bill across Australia and New Zealand by touring with art stadium stalwarts Simple Minds and art rock innovators Devo.
This tour will cover major city venues as well as a day on the green concerts in regional areas where Melbourne contemporaries Models will join the bill.
Although all bands formed in the seventies and entertained the mainstream in the eighties, all have endured and remained creative continuing to tour and release albums to critical and public acclaim.
Do not miss this art rock extravaganza as it rolls into your town.

I can easily do without Simple Minds or Devo, but I can’t do without The Church. And hey, Steve, Marty, Peter and Tim, why not head to the old world sometime soon? To Switzerland, to be more specific. In all, I’ve spent seven years in Australia, and just about missed any date you did around the country. Now I hope that you’ll make it over here without further delay, in order to experience what I’ve been wishing for for so long: a Church live gig. I’ll even bring friends and family along, willing or not. I expect them to honour my musical tastes
And I hope I’m not mistaken by thinking that the time is ripe for a release of your live performance at the Sydney Opera House. Another monumental event I missed. Please do realize that the few clips of this concert that can be found on youtube are no substitute for the real deal at all.
When will we hear about other shows than ADOTG in NZ without those other clowns?
